Last.fm, Pandora, Musicovery, Blogmusik, GoEar (solo per citarne alcuni): sono numerosi ormai i servizi online che consentono di ascoltare musica. Scegliendo tra la moltitudine, oggi ho provato Radio.Blog.Club, web radio di semplice utilizzo e con un ricco archivio musicale.
Per creare le playlist dei brani preferiti occorre effettuare la registrazione, mentre è consentito a tutti ascoltare le playlist degli utenti. Una volta creata, la playlist può essere condivisa tramite link o integrata nel proprio blog, attraverso l'inserimento di un player. In quest'ultimo caso, i brani in formato .mp3 (da convertire in formato RBS) devono essere caricati sul proprio spazio web.
Effettuando il download del player avrete a disposizione i file con le istruzioni specifiche (in inglese). In alternativa, vi suggerisco di leggere il tutorial di Pannasmontata.
Un'ottima soluzione per ovviare al caricamento su server, con i problemi di spazio che potrebbero conseguirne, è importare sul blog singoli brani musicali (Blog this track), tramite semplice copia e incolla di un codice. Ecco un esempio:

StampaWeb (2.0) Design / tutorialist #1
Inauguro oggi la serie di raccolte "tematiche" dedicate ai tutorial sul web design. Le liste non sono naturalmente complete, poiché frutto di una selezione personale, né definitive, quindi mi riservo di aggiornarle via via che i consueti impeti di navigazione delirante faranno lievitare ulteriormente bookmark locali e sociali già eccedenti. La priorità, come è ovvio, è data in queste prime battute ai tutorial per creare grafica Web 2.0.
Spero vi piaccia l'organizzazione più grafica e meno testuale delle liste.

Ebbene sì, celebro anche io il Blog Day, ma lo faccio trasgredendo le "regole", ovvero segnalando 5 blog che non sono tutti nuovi e sconosciuti e che non sono così distanti dai miei interessi.

ASK the CSS Guy Una risorsa utilissima sui CSS. Il titolo è di per sé esplicativo.
Italian webdesign Ne ho parlato qualche giorno fa in un post dedicato. Ho anticipato i tempi, quindi inserisco questo blog appena nato anche nella mia rosa dei 5.
Strange New Product Il blog è una raccolta di prodotti bizzarri, originali, spesso del tutto inutili. Purtroppo è fermo a marzo 2007, ma lo segnalo lo stesso perché per chi non lo ha mai letto è di certo un ottimo momento di pausa dal web sul web.
I siti showcase e di ispirazione sono ormai numerosissimi e molti ne continuano a nascere; molti, c'è da dire, in compenso muoiono. Per tenere sempre aggiornato l'elenco, ho pensato di "scompattare" la lista che avevo pubblicato tempo fa - Ispirazione: 170 gallerie e showcase - e di gestire le tre nuove liste (CSS Showcase, Mixed Showcase e Flash Showcase) con Diigo. In qualche modo ci si deve pur facilitare la vita no?
La prima che pubblico qui sul blog è quella dedicata alle gallerie CSS. Oltre alla lista testuale ho creato, come vedete, uno slideshow con tutti i siti CSS showcase presenti nell'elenco. Così, in pochi secondi, è possibile passare da un sito all'altro e visualizzare immediatamente le novità presenti in home page. Mi auguro che questo possa agevolare chi ha bisogno, come me, di dare una scorsa veloce alle diverse gallerie di tanto in tanto...

Torno sul tema degli attuali clichés del web design - che avevo introdotto brevemente in un precedente articolo e che mi ero ripromessa di approfondire -, prendendo spunto da una critica rivolta al mio blog e, più in generale, al trend che vede nello stile 2.0 lo stile più diffuso nel web design.
La critica è un commento postato su Stylegala in risposta alla segnalazione spontanea del mio blog da parte di un utente nella sezione delle news di marzo. (La segnalazione è stata rimossa ieri poiché relativa a un blog non in lingua inglese.)
Arrivo al dunque, non prima di ringraziare chi di dovere per la segnalazione e precisare, anche se i pochi ma buoni lettori assidui lo sanno bene, che questo non è un blog interamente ed esclusivamente dedicated to "Web 2.0" reflections and glossiness. Le liste di tutorial Web 2.0 Logo e Web 2.0 Text Effect pubblicate di recente devono aver ingannato qualcuno.
Nel mio articolo di introduzione al tema sottolineavo che il Web è terreno fertile per la diffusione di modelli inizialmente originali che proliferando diventano banalmente preconfezionati, facendo ovvio riferimento all'omologazione del current web style. Premettevo anche, però, chenon è sempre facile mantenersi immuni dagli stereotipi e che in un modo o nell'altro tutti ne siamo "vittime".
Che lo si voglia o no, aggiungo ora.
Credo che i web designer siano del tutto consapevoli dell'avvenuta (e forse ancora in progresso) standardizzazione del web design e ben conoscano le conseguenze del conformarsi toutcourt a una tendenza o una moda: il rischio è, da una parte, quello di inibire una produzione creativa a favore di una "in serie", dall'altra quello di ridurre il design del web a esercizio estetico privando di qualsiasi valore semantico elementi grafici e visuali.
Poco conta l'etichetta utilizzata per classificare un certo tipo di caratteristiche ricorrenti nel web design. Del resto, è evidente che i visual pattern attualmente di tendenza sono definiti 2.0 in virtù del fatto che ad adottarli, per primi, sono stati siti Web 2.0 in senso stretto ed è altrettanto evidente che proprio la popolarità di questo tipo di siti (da cui poter trarre "profitto") ne ha favorito la diffusione. In altre parole, il Web 2.0 pur non connotando in sé e per sé uno specifico stile di design del web ha finito per delineare una tendenza dalla quale sono scaturite linee guida e (buone) norme di design. In tal senso, non stupisce la proliferazione di siti Web 2.0 nella forma ma non nella sostanza (tra le quali, dunque, non vi è necessariamente una relazione causale) né una certa difficoltà, per i web designer, di sottrarsi a un trend percepito come "di successo" anche da molti non addetti ai lavori e dagli stessi clienti che commissionano la realizzazione di siti.
Se non è vero che tutto il mondo è paese, di certo tutto il mondo è mercato, anche il web. Pensare che si possa prescindere da alcune logiche - di "mercato", per l'appunto - rimanda ad una concezione romantica della creatività suggestiva ma poco realistica. La consapevolezza di cui parlavo prima è sicuramente un ottimo strumento per scongiurare l'imitazione pedissequa e saper bilanciare tra invenzione e ricorso a quegli standard in cui tendenze, mode e ipotesi vere o presunte di successo (ci) costringono, senza che tutto ciò significhi porre limiti alla reinvenzione. La bravura di un web designer non sta forse anche in questo?
